What is the default ID and password for eShare?
Default ID and password for eShare is:
ID: admin
Password: leave empty
What happens if I placed in an incorrect format HDD?
With the latest firmware update on eShare 0.16b, eShare will automatically detect if the HDD is in compatible format with the eShare.
If it is in compatible format with eShare, then web UI will automatically start with standard page.
If the HDD is in incompatible format, then a page on web UI will appear with "Unknown USB storage", please read the info thoroughly on the page. Then press "format and reboot" icon to start the formatting process. After the formatting has completed, the web UI will temporary jump to "reboot", please close the page and open a new webpage and type in the eShare-xxxx again to start, you should then see the standard page which is shown in the instruction manual.

What happens if I forgot my eShare number?
Normally the eShare-xxxx is located on the quick instruction manual, if you have lost the manual, there are ways for which the number can be located.
What we recommend is for user to register unique domain name through www.esharelive.com which will make it easier to remember.
Or it can be located through your router configuration page, where it will show devices connected to it's LAN port.
